I purchased some throw pillows to add a small pop or color and I put some fun throws on the armchairs. How I styled my Chesterfield sofa was super simple as well. I highly recommend the Pottery Barn Chesterfield sofa and I hope this review helps someone in their purchase. The fabric is so soft and the seat cushions do not have one pill or snag in it despite the kids jumping on it daily and the dog jumping on and off of it. Yes! It has now been two years and I LOVE it. Pottery Barns customer service is also great incase you ever have a problem. No assembly required which I try to avoid at all costs. Their delivery service is the best because they give you such an accurate delivery window, bring everything in, and set it up for you. Pottery Barn Shipping & Returns also makes your life so much easier. There was one huge milk spill and I was able to take the cushion cover off and wash them according to the directions (no dry clean required). With just soap and water everything has easily come off of it. The Chesterfield Sofa Care is also super simple. The furniture pieces are also so incredibly comfortable too. They also have a create your own option where you can create a sectional in almost any configuration. It comes in a loveseat and 2 sizes of arm chairs (I got two of the small ones). I purchased the regular size sofa which is 89″ long but they also have a grand sofa that is 97″ long. I also want to mention a little bit about the Chesterfield sofa size & dimensions. They also have a leather sofa option if that is what you are looking for.

You can go in store or order free swatches online and I highly recommend doing this. My mother has this in the fog color and it is gorgeous. I would say it is a warm grey compared to the fog which is more of a true/cool grey. I took her advice and got the chenille fabric in the cloud color. However she said that the chenille fabric did not do this and in her opinion wore the best over time compared to the over fabrics. She told me that it was true, and many of the fabrics did tend to pill and snag over time. There are so many fabric types including linen, chenille, tweed, basketweave, and so on (you can read about them and see all the colors here). Once I decided I needed a Performance Fabric I headed to my local Pottery Barn store to look at swatches and I was so glad I did. Especially since this was going in our main living area where we spend most of our time. Cleaning up spills was crucial and worth the extra price tag. At the time I had a 3 year old, 9 month old that was always spilling formula, and a 75 lb dog. I did know that I needed to go with a Performance Fabric. The few reviews online said that a lot of the fabrics tended to snag and pill which made me super nervous.
However, the Chesterfield fabrics & colors were very confusing to me. It is elegant but also something I could see us eating popcorn and FaceTiming family on.
It has beautiful tufting as well as gorgeous rolled arms. The Chesterfield Collection is exactly what I was looking for.
I hear they are also easier to care for too. Pottery Barn sofas are also typically less expensive than the ones from Restoration Hardware. They make shopping online for big pieces easy and they have the best delivery service. There are so many furniture stores out there, but Pottery Barn is frequently my go to.
